Build a username for the profile
Each profile should keep its own IP, so give it a unique session ID. Combine the country you need with
-session-and the longest residential lifetime,-lifetime-120.Text USERNAME-country-us-session-ads001-lifetime-120 -
Open the profile proxy settings
Click New Profile, or edit an existing profile, and open its Proxy section. Choose the custom proxy option so you can enter your own gateway details.
-
Enter the gateway details
Select HTTP as the proxy type and fill in the fields below, or choose SOCKS5 with port 1080. AdsPower also accepts the whole proxy as one host:port:username:password string pasted into the host field.
Text Proxy type: HTTP Host: gw.proxonym.com Port: 8000 Username: USERNAME-country-us-session-ads001-lifetime-120 Password: PASSWORD SOCKS5: the same fields with port 1080 One string: gw.proxonym.com:8000:USERNAME-country-us-session-ads001-lifetime-120:PASSWORD -
Check the proxy
Click Check Proxy before you save. A passing check shows the exit IP and its location; a failure usually means a typo in the username or password, which the gateway rejects with a 407.
-
Match the fingerprint to the IP
Set timezone, language and geolocation to follow the proxy IP instead of your computer, so the profile looks consistent with its exit location. Save the profile and open it.
-
Scale to many profiles
Give every profile a different session ID and save the lines as reusable proxies or import them in bulk. For accounts that must keep one address for weeks, use static ISP proxies from your Proxonym list instead.

Frequently asked questions
Which proxy type should I choose in AdsPower?
Choose HTTP with port 8000 for most profiles. It tunnels HTTPS sites through CONNECT and works with every targeting and session parameter. SOCKS5 with port 1080 works as well and takes the same username. Avoid the HTTPS proxy type, which expects an encrypted connection to the proxy itself.
How do I keep the same IP every time I open a profile?
A residential session ID holds one IP for up to 120 minutes, which covers a working session but not several days. For profiles that must always return from the same address, buy ISP proxies and paste one static IP per profile from your list in the ip:port:username:password format.
Why does the proxy check fail?
The most common causes are a typo in the username or password, an expired plan or empty balance, or the HTTPS proxy type. Run the same credentials through cURL on your computer: a 407 points to credentials, a 402 to your balance. If cURL works, re-enter the details in AdsPower and check again.
Can I use mobile IPs in AdsPower?
Yes. Add -type-mobile and a supported country to the username, for example USERNAME-country-us-type-mobile-session-ads010-lifetime-3. Mobile IPs are available in the United States, the United Kingdom and Austria, sessions last up to 3 minutes, and traffic draws on the same balance as residential.
