Norway proxies

Norwegian shoppers rely on Finn.no for classifieds, jobs and property, compare prices on Prisjakt and buy from retailers such as Elkjøp and Komplett. Because Norway is outside the EU, prices and shipping terms often differ from neighboring Sweden, so Norwegian residential IPs help teams see the actual local offer.

FAQ

Norway proxy questions.

Need a city, carrier or volume we do not list for Norway? Ask us and we will check live availability.

Ask a proxy expert
How do I get a Norwegian IP address?

Add -country-no to your proxy username and connect to gw.proxonym.com:8000 (HTTP) or :1080 (SOCKS5). Every request then leaves from a residential IP in Norway. Drop the session parameter to get a new IP on each request.

Can I target a specific city or countie in Norway?

Yes. Append -city-oslo for Oslo, or -state-oslo for Oslo. Use either a city or a countie, not both. If no IP matches, the gateway returns a 502 error and you can widen the targeting.

How many Norwegian IPs are available?

Our network counts about 24K residential IPs in Norway: about 21K on GB plans and 2K on unlimited plans. Pools change throughout the day as peers connect and disconnect.

Which proxy type should I use for Norway?

Residential proxies are the safest choice for well-protected local websites. See the pricing page to compare plans.

Is it legal to use Norwegian proxies?

Using a proxy is legal in most places, including for collecting public data, testing and ad verification. What matters is what you do with it: you must respect local laws, the terms of the sites you access and our acceptable use policy.
